Harness the Energy of the 2nd Capricorn Full Moon

 Happening on July 21 2024, at 1116 BST is the Capricorn Full Moon, and it is packing quite the punch… so much so, I am posting this early so you can lean into all the energies and go with the flow.

Carrying on from the energies of the week, the Moon, which is happening at the anaretic degree of 29 degrees of Capricorn, carries on the themes from the Capricorn Full Moon that we had at the beginning of June, which was which was at one degree of Capricorn, AND is really helping us to focus on the intentions that we set at the Cancer New Moon two weeks ago.

This Capricorn Moon is conjunct Pluto, which really does show to me that the theme of New Beginnings is continuing very forcefully with this, but that we are being helped immeasurably by the cosmos. This Moon has a very, very, very busy chart.

Mars and Uranus bring the sudden shocks

We have the Moon Trine, Mars and Uranus, which feels to me as though we are going to be putting into action something, or something is going to be actioned that could shock us. Mars is the planet of action, aggression, of getting shit done. Uranus is the planet or of the wrecking ball. It will just wash away everything, create something change, so that we're really forced to move forward with who we are meant to be, and how we are meant to be, and everything that we have chosen to be.

The New Start of the Capricorn Full Moon

The fact that these are both conjunct the Moon, both trine the Moon, which is also conjunct Pluto, and is showing me that there is the new start waiting to happen here. We also have the Moon sextile Neptune, which really feels to me as though our intuition is going to be on fire at this time. We have a lot that's happening around the descendant, our home. In fact, actually in Aries itself, we have a stellium with Chiron, the South Node, vertex and the descendant itself. So this feels like it's going to be quite personal, hitting our comfort zone and pushing us to the unknown.

We will really be feeling these things, especially with Neptune at 29 degrees igniting our intuition.

This is very much Moon of a collective and will be playing out differently for each of us depending on our own birth charts, but we will all feel the fires burning bringing change.

Uranus, the planet of change

Uranus, is square Mercury in Leo. Now, what this feels is as though we may hear of something that will bring upset, something that will that could be said, or we might hear some information with regards to friends and relationships that we have with them, which could, which could cause us to feel quite unearthed and ungrounded at this time.

If you are being affected by these energies over this Moon, where you do hear something and you don't know what to do, consider dropping down into your heart and really trying to connect with the Neptunian energies that are in Pisces. So just take some time to really try and get quiet, to meditate.  Also, because Uranus is actually going to be in Taurus at this time, try to get grounded by putting your feet on the ground, if you can get to the ocean, put your feet in the water (hit Neptune and Uranus together with this one), no matter how cold it is, whatever it is that you do, you do you. Just make sure you do actually get grounded before jumping into that action, because you may feel impulsive, but just remember, whatever you do is actually going to be creating a massive new beginning for you.

We also have the Sun at 29 degrees of Cancer, again, the anorectic, as with every new Moon, the Sun is opposing the Moon, and it is shining very, very brightly as to what we normally try to keep hidden. The fact that Moon is also conjunct Pluto (planet of Death and Rebirth) at this time really does say to me that we're going to be really feeling the feels of this Moon, and it will probably bring us back to what was happening at the Cancer Moon, and definitely before that at the Capricorn Moon.

So any stirrings, nudges, hunches, that you have been getting over the month, pay attention to those while you can as Mercury is shouting at you what you need to do!  When I say pay attention, really take this time to listen to what's being shown to you and work with these energies.

Mercury and the Moon

The good news about this Moon is we do have Mercury, which is still in Leo (our personality, who we come here to roar as), trine Jupiter, the planet of abundance, which is also trine the south node in Libra. So again, what this says to me is that the planet of abundance (Jupiter) will blow things up so there is no hiding from what we are meant to do! Luckily, trines are a positive transit, so it is here to help us to still feel good about ourselves, to push us to lean into the energies of ourselves. Whatever does happen, whilst it might not be feeling great at the time, the outcome is going to be that we will feel good about our actions, about our thought process, about what we do, and it's really here to help, that it's really being enforced with the cosmos right now.

This Full Moon even is not going to be a comfortable Moon and it could make us feel ungrounded. It's still, whilst the Moon is technically in Capricorn, it's still in the collective fourth house of home, and the Sun, is also in Cancer, the ruler of the 4th house.  The fact that this is at anuretic degrees says that this is a Moon that will collectively be felt. It will have a lasting affect that we will all feel as a period of time in humanity. As a collective, this Moon will take time to play out… its ripples spreading across the world over the coming months.

The energy that the Capricorn Full Moon brings

On a personal level, we will all feel these differently, but while our home life may be challenged by what we hear or see, it is still about our community, family, friends. So therefore we will still very much be feeling the energies in our home life. This entirely depends on your own birth chart and the transits the cosmos is making to you at this time.  You could feel directly, or you potentially through the challenges that others are experiencing.

To see how this Moon is likely to affect you directly, have a look at your birth charts and to see what this is highlighting. The Moon is really shining a light at this Moon on 26 degrees of Capricorn to four degrees of Aquarius, anything that's kind of in that area, you are likely, if you have any planets showing up, you are likely to feel this Moon.

IF something does come out, which kind of rocks the boat you personally, then pay attention to that and just remember, this is a transit it will pass. It's here for your highest good. It's here for your best. Good. It's here to really help you move forward to be the person that you wanted to be back in the Cancer New Moon. So just keep going back to that. Just keep the deep breathing. Keep your feet grounded. Be yourself. Keep grounded, and just rest assured that this is happening for you.

This isn't happening to you, this is happening FOR you… And that's really what we need to remember at this time. 

This Moon is really going to propel your life forward. As I said before, this will be played out at a global scale in terms of shifts happening over the coming days, weeks, months. Things are slowing down with more and more planets going into retrograde, but it's going to give us the time to really be able to work on ourselves and move ourselves so that we can be those people that we want to be. So just listen to what this Moon is highlighting that you need to move on from the changes that you need to make in your life. Uranus is really going to show you what those changes are, because without making those changes, you can't open those doors. We may not know what awaits us at the otherside of these doors, but surely it is better to open them ourselves rather than wait for them to be blown open?

And they will blow if we don’t take control.  Uranus and Pluto together want us to move forward. Without opening those doors, you won't be able to walk into that room, take over the space and move into there. And that's what this Moon wants us to do. This Moon wants us to take over that room. This Moon wants us to take over the whole blooming building.  This Moon wants us to be the people that we wanted to be at the Cancer New Moon, so let's create the space by opening the door for that to happen.
